AUGUST NEWS


I just arrived home from The Syracuse Jazz Festival, where I played with Manhattan Vibes. A special thanks to Drummer/percussionist Larry Luttinger, his wife, and all the great folks up at the jazzfest in Syracuse who treated us like family. I can't wait to head back there.

August is another crazy touring month. I'll be playing with Jeff Richman and The LA Allstars, The East Village Opera Company, and touring Australia with The Manhattan Transfer this month. Please check my live page for the exact dates and locations.

Obviously I have not been in the studio very much due to my touring schedule. However, I did manage to do one session with producer/guitarist Ben Butler. It was a few pieces of music for an upcoming HBO series.

I had a rehearsal today with The John Scofield Band, and our schedule for September and October is full. I really hope some of you make it out to see this band, it's a hard groovin' project featuring some great players.
