August 2003 Update Hey peeps! Welcome to my new site! I hope you dig the changes. First of all, you all have my apologies(again) for not updating this summer. In June I was touring with the great Janis Siegel in support of her new release "Friday Night Special", and in July I was in Europe with The Manhattan Transfer. It's been a busy couple of months. Also, thanks to all the fans that are making "Traveler" such a success. I never thought my debut release would make so much noise, but I'm happy it has. For the latest on "Traveler" and a look at which radio stations are playing me across the U.S go to www.stevehass-traveler.com. The music and touring continue this month. In August I'll be on the road with Ravi Coltrane and The Manhattan Transfer. I'm also playing in the house band for a concert featuring Korea's top pop artists. This will take place at The Staples Center in Los Angeles CA on August 22. Locally I'll be making the rounds, Sundays at The Bitter End and a gig with the great Joe Brack. On the recording front, George Colligan's "Live At Blues Alley" came out in June and is available at www.jazzconnect.com. Congratulations to my friend Miri Ben-Ari who just signed with Universal Records. Dana Mase's "A Million Miles" will finally be released before the year is over on ZEBRA records.
