News for February Hey everyone! Gigging in NYC nightly and recording on several record dates has made January quite a month. Session were with The Manhattan Transfer, Long Island singer/songwriter Mike Holtzman, and Canadian jazz singer Kelly Lee Evans. February isn't quite as busy drumming wise. This will give me a chance to update the HASSBEAT PRODUCTIONS studio, and maybe, just maybe Iíll hit the practice room once or twice. For those of you who have been emailing for lessons, now is a good time. This month I will performing with Joe Brack, Manhattan Vibes, and taking part in a rock opera at Joe's Pub in NYC on the 24th. On the session scene I will be recording with artsts Neshama Carlebach and Karen Cole. My debut release as a leader, Traveler, has been moving along. It's been 8 months since it's release in June of 2003 and it's sold out at Virgin Megastore Boston and NYC. We're currently re-stocking at those outlets. It's also sold out online at Barnes and Noble, Amazon and several other online outlets where we are also re-stocking. Of course, it's still available at http://www.stevehass.net.
