Happy Holidays!
This has been one busy fall. The tours began with John Scofield
around the U.S and ended with The Manhattan Transfer in Europe. I
had a great time on both tours. Playing fun music and meeting fine
people. Thanks to all involved!.
Along with December come the Manhattan Transfer Christmas concerts.
There are four concerts planned for this season, ending at The Walt
Disney Concert Hall in California. Iím also very excited to be doing
a little jazz gig in a trio setting with John Scofield. It will be
held at the Katonah public library in NY on December 10th.
Thereís nothing better than bringing in the New Year while playing
with one of the worlds greatest guitar players. Iím very to be
playing the music of the great Ray Charles with The John Scofield
Band in Orvieto Italy, as a past of the Umbria Winter Jazz Festival.
On the recording scene there have been a few releases listed above. I
will be recording with producer Ken Wallace for Ian London
Productions once again this month. Iíll keep you posted on the
project and itís anticipated release. Between concerts, The
Manhattan Transfer has asked me to play on their latest project which
is a symphony album. Iím not sure of the repertoire quite yet but I
know it will include such hits as Birdland and The Offbeat Of Avenues.
I wish you all Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
HASSY:-)
